STEAMSHINE™ SHINEMASTER™

BECAUSE STEAMSHINE™ SHINEMASTER™ UNITS USE ONE TANK FOR BOTH WATER AND POLISHING COMPOUND, REGULAR MAINTENANCE IS CRITICAL FOR YOUR LONG-TERM SATISFACTION.

HOW IT WORKS

Polishing/Wash:

At the flick of a switch your *G.P. Shinemaster™ system is activated, injecting in the Steam Jet a desired concentration of Diamond polishing Compound. The throttle mixing valve on the upper left side is setting the proportion. Once set, leave the valve in this position: DO NOT adjust it with every item to be cleaned, rather vary the time if more cleaning/polishing is desired.

By holding the item to be polished, close to the Steam Jet at a sharp angle, the luster of your jewelry will be greatly increased.

This option is particularly useful in cleaning customers jewelry which, after years of use, can have considerable amounts of soap, hand lotion, body oils, dust, etc. hardened under the stone or in crevices. The Shinemaster™ polishing will, in seconds, dislodge, clean, and polish these areas as well. If not perfect wash is achieved at first time, press the foot switch one more time while holding the area to be washed under the Steam Jet.

The Diamond Polishing Compound has a size of less than 0.25 microns so that it will not remove gold or other metals; it will not remove scratches, rather it will burnish/polish these areas. If more polishing is desired, press the foot switch repeatedly or open the Mixing Valve counter-clockwise a bit more.

Rinse:

At this point, turn off the *G.P. Shinemaster™ polishing system, by turning off the toggle switch or close the mixing throttle valve. Condensed steam is the purest distilled water: hold the item to be cleaned near the Steam jet, turning the item so that all its areas to be rinsed are affected. It is useful to dip large items in cold water; this can speed up the rinsing process and help conserve considerable amounts of steam.

Dry:

The thermal energy transferred from the steam to the item to be dried will evaporate the steam condensation. If there are water spots left on the item to be dried, hold the item closer to the Steam Jet.

Adding Polishing Concentrate:

Dilute one or two capfuls of the Shinemaster™ Polishing Concentrate in one gallon of water and refill your Steamshine™ unit with this solution every day.

Maintenance:

By following the instructions for Maintenance and Cleaning Procedure, clean your unit bimonthly.
